English-speaking students of the International Campus met with university officials and organizers of the Persian language course on 27 April 2025. During the session, the importance of learning Persian for medical students who interact with patients was emphasized. It was explained that learning Persian is not only a means of communication with people in Iran, but also a gateway for students to explore the country’s rich culture, literature, and history.
The Persian Language Course is organized in collaboration with the Office of Scientific and International Cooperation, the AZFA Center, and the Scientific Association of Persian Language and Literature of Yazd University.
Medical students are expected to learn Persian during the first two years in order to communicate with patients when they begin their clinical training in hospitals.
At the end of the ceremony, outstanding international students were honored with awards.
