The School of Dentistry enrolled its inaugural class in 1993, consisting of 25 students in dentistry. Initially overseen by Prof. Ahmad Haerian Ardakani, the school is currently headed by Dr. Seyed Hossein Razavi.

All educational and research activities within the Faculty are optimally facilitated through 160 dental units. Faculty members in various departments, including Endodontics, Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, Orthodontics, and Oral Health and Community Dentistry, provide supervision and guidance. The facilities, essential equipment, and amenities, such as clinics, classes, laboratories, pre-clinics, dental laboratories, an internet center, outpatient operating room, emergency center, clinic for foreign nationals, and audio-visual amenities, are accessible to all students. Additionally, students can benefit from the library, reading room, printing services, photocopying facilities, sports ground, buffet, dining room, and prayer room.
