Dermatology & Reconstructive Surgery Ward

  • Reconstructive surgery for various types of lacerations and soft tissue injuries
  • Surgical treatment of diabetic wounds
  • Surgical repair of cleft lip and palate in children
  • Surgical and cosmetic management of skin lesions and various types of acne
  • Outpatient admission for patients requiring dermatologic injections such as Remicade, Rituximab, etc.
  • Treatment of dermatologic diseases including psoriasis, pemphigus, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, shingles (herpes zoster), and more
  • Surgical and intra-lesional treatment of burn scars to reduce hypertrophic scarring
  • General surgical procedures including:
    • Appendectomy
    • Hemorrhoidectomy
    • Cholecystectomy
    • Hernia repairs
    • Thyroidectomy, and others

Burn Ward

  • Specialized treatment and care for various types and stages of burn injuries
  • General and internal surgical procedures
  • Vascular-related therapeutic interventions
  • Comprehensive care for diabetic wounds and burn wounds
  • Aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries performed by experienced plastic and burn subspecialists
  • Bariatric surgeries including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and related obesity treatments

Location: First floor of the new hospital building.

Burn Intensive Care Unit (BICU)

  • Specialized treatment of all types of burns including:
    •   Inhalation burns
    •   Chemical burns
    •   Electrical burns
  • Advanced wound management using modern dressings under the supervision of plastic and burn surgeons
  • Pain-free burn dressing procedures performed with the cooperation of burn surgeons and anesthesiologists
  • Specialized post-operative care following bariatric surgeries such as sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass
  • Intensive care and monitoring for non-burn patients requiring ICU-level support, including:
    • Cardiac and pulmonary monitoring
    • Mechanical ventilation (ventilator support)

Operating Room (Surgical Theatre)

  • Specialized surgical procedures for burn treatment including debridement, skin grafting, and flap surgeries
  • Aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeries performed by board-certified plastic and burn surgeons
  • Bariatric surgeries including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and other obesity-related procedures
  • General surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, thyroidectomy, hernia repairs, and hemorrhoidectomy
  • Pediatric surgeries including cleft lip and palate repair
  • Sterile environment with advanced anesthesia monitoring and intraoperative care by experienced anesthesiologists
  • Coordinated pre-operative and post-operative care for both inpatient and outpatient surgeries

Emergency Department

  • 24/7 General medical visits and care
  • Immediate admission and treatment of burn patients
  • Admission and treatment of patients with facial lacerations
  • Advanced wound dressing for pressure ulcers, burns, surgical and diabetic wounds
  • Patient education on wound care management
  • Suturing of various types of wounds
  • Intravenous therapy (IV therapy)
  • Administration of injections
  • Follow-up wound treatment and referral to relevant specialists if necessary
  • Emergency care for admitted patients including ECG monitoring, catheterization, blood pressure control, laboratory tests, radiography, and wound dressing

Paraclinical Departments

Radiology

  • Performing all simple X-rays without contrast injection, including skull, face, sinuses, and orbit
  • Performing all simple spinal X-rays including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral regions
  • Performing all simple X-rays of the pelvis and hip region

Laboratory

Shahdaye Mehrab Hospital Laboratory is equipped to perform a full range of tests including hematology, serology, biochemistry, microbiology, hormone analysis, and blood bank tests for both inpatients and outpatients.

The laboratory operates 24/7, providing services for emergency, outpatient, and inpatient needs.

Staffed by experienced laboratory scientists and experts holding advanced degrees, and equipped with modern laboratory technology, the lab is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic services to all patients and visitors.

Out-Patient Services

The outpatient clinic at Shahdaye Mehrab Hospital provides various outpatient services across multiple specialties, allowing patients to receive necessary examinations and treatments without hospitalization. Services include medical examinations, specialist visits, injections, simple wound dressings, and medical consultations.

The clinic also facilitates quick access to paraclinical services such as laboratory and radiology for patients.

Outpatient Dermatology and Reconstructive Clinic

This clinic provides specialized outpatient dermatology and reconstructive treatments. Common procedures include mole removal, treatment and removal of various types of warts, and other minor skin surgeries. The clinic focuses on non-invasive and minimally invasive dermatological interventions that do not require hospital admission. Patients benefit from expert care for a variety of skin conditions and receive follow-up treatments without the need for hospitalization.

Location: At the end of the hospital campus, after the new hospital building, on the right side.

Occupational Therapy

  • Visiting and assessing inpatients across hospital departments
  • Outpatient visits for patients with physical and mental disabilities at the hospital clinic
  • Providing consultation and follow-up care for burn patients after discharge

Location: Inside the main hospital clinic
