The main purpose of establishing the Research Center for Food Hygiene and Safety is to highlight the development and preservation of research on healthy food production in the country and to improve the nutritional health of Iranian food.
One of the long-term plans for the Research Center for Food Hygiene and Safety is to lead in national and international targeted research, as well as to conduct major research in hygiene and food safety is in the country, publish scientific findings in valid journals, hold scientific conferences.
The main activities of the this Center are the advancement of specialized laboratory training for post graduate and post-doctoral students, the publication of scientific references and specialized reference books, the exchange of scientific education to the society and etc.
It is expected that the activities of this Research Center will contribute to development of food science and the research function of professors, researchers and students.
