Established in 1989, the School of Public Health at Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences has been at the forefront of health education in Yazd, initially accepting 25 students in the Bachelor of Public Health program. From its inception, the school has been under the dedicated supervision of Prof. Mohammad Hassan Ehrampoush until April 2021, succeeded by Prof. Hassan Mozaffari-Khosravi. Building on this rich legacy of leadership, the school has continuously evolved, driving innovation and excellence in health education.

Presently housed in a newly established building spanning an impressive 11,000 square meters across four floors, the School of Public Health is equipped with 40 classrooms, 20 laboratories, 4 workshops, and various other cutting-edge facilities. This dynamic space serves as the hub for academic exploration and practical learning, providing students with an environment conducive to both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience. Through this commitment to modern infrastructure and resources, the school cultivates an environment where students can flourish, conduct innovative research and develop the skills required to address public health challenges.
