About Us

Hormones are chemical messengers secreted by endocrine glands into the bloodstream, regulating and controlling the activity of target cells throughout the body. They are released in response to specific stimuli, bind to their receptors, and trigger changes that influence vital physiological processes. Hormonal balance is maintained through complex interactions between the endocrine and nervous systems.

The Hormone Laboratory of Yazd Reproductive Sciences Institute was established in 2003 to evaluate female and male hormones, recognizing their crucial role in fertility and reproductive health. Since then, the laboratory has supported both clinical services and research, working closely with the departments of women’s clinic, urology, andrology, and embryology.

Our laboratory performs a wide range of hormonal, immunological, and hematological tests using advanced methods such as electrochemiluminescence and ELISA, with strict adherence to daily quality control programs to ensure accuracy and precision. Equipped with modern world-class devices and staffed by experienced and committed professionals, the laboratory conducts an average of 300 tests per day.
