The official meeting for signing the Memorandum of Understanding on academic cooperation between SSU and the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Italy was held on December 13, 2017 at SSU, Yazd.
The meeting was arranged by a research center of the School of Public Health, SSU. According to Prof. Mohammad Bagher Owlia, the Director of International Relations Office, the signed MoU includes student and faculty exchange, academic visits, short- and long-term academic courses and joint educational and research programs.”The University of Bari is one of the major universities of Italy with a history of over 90 years and 60000 students and the fourth Italian university after Pavia, Insubria, and Bolognato to have academic cooperation with SSU.”, he said. “Signing cooperation agreements is an academic tradition with the aim of providing more valuable services through synergistic activities. For years universities around the world have been competing in recruiting international students.”, he continued.
