 Effect of Whole Egg Consumption on Weight and Body Composition in Adults: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Clinical Trials

 The results of the present study showed that egg consumption does not lead to overweight or obesity and may even have positive effects on body mass index (BMI) in healthy individuals. Therefore, controlled consumption of eggs in the diets of healthy individuals can be effective in weight reduction and increasing satiety.

Research Title: Association between High Serum Uric Acid and the 10-Year Prospective Risk of Dyslipidemia in Adults

A 10‑year study of 693 participants found that men with higher uric acid levels were more likely to develop dyslipidemia, even after adjusting for age and lifestyle factors. Elevated uric acid was associated with higher triglycerides and low‑density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, but not with high‑density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol. This association was not observed in women.
