Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA)

AMSA was established in 1985 to unite Asian countries, promote scientific and cultural exchange, and support the advancement of each other’s health systems. The association currently consists of 17 full members, 2 associate members, and 11 observer members. In January 2024, Iran officially joined AMSA as an observer member, thus establishing the AMSA Iran Chapter. The purpose of AMSA’s activities is to cultivate competent, innovative, and ethically committed physicians.
